In December 2010 I had a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with a recurrence of breast cancer. First Reiki Experience. Yesterday was my first experience with Reiki and I found the session to be informative, and relaxing. As I am going through some post surgery issues with sore muscles, joints etc, I plan on continuing with Reiki along with more traditional physical therapy. On a more personal note, I thought Ardath was open with her knowledge, inquisitive about my specific needs, and an all around kind soul. So in a nutshell, after my first session, my impression was positive things happening in a soothing, creative, and nurturing atmosphere
